Sorry this is so overdue! Life is crazy busy at the moment. Elijah's first day at Wylie Elementary. He is in Mrs. Schulle's Kindergarten class and is doing really well. We've already been approached about getting him tested for advanced learning. While I'm glad that he seems brighter than most kids his age, I worry about him. I worry that he is going to be too gorgeous and too smart and too athletic that we won't know what to do with him. I guess only time will tell if we raised him to make good decisions. Anywhoo, here are some pics!
Ready to go...

Thumps up!

So proud to have a locker...

Saying bye to daddy...

And me :D...

Look at that cool messenger bag.
Is it weird that I get a big smile when I see you in your uniform?
Raise him in a Christian home and you'll have less to worry about. Uncle Benjie just got done preaching about praying for wisdom for our children - wisdom as only God can give. So pray for Elijah to have wisdom from God, and he'll do just fine! That and having two parents who love him dearly. =)
Just remember too, that with constant instruction and encouragement from a church family your job will be easier. When your kids see you growing in Christ they will want to also.
Love you guys and he is one beautiful grandson. Of course I'm blessed with 3 of them.
