birthday bowling...

One of my co-worker's daughter had her birthday on Wednesday. Lilly turned 6 years old (when Elijah realized she was older than him, his response was "but I'm still taller, right?"). Elijah and Lilly met at their schools roller skating night mentioned in an earlier blog. They hit it off right away and now go to after school care together. Lilly tends to hang on Elijah a lot, which he hates, but we're working on it. We all had a great time bowling and I got to talk to my co-worker a little more and I think we're becoming fast friends. Its really nice to talk to someone in my age group! I'm so used to talking to 18 to 21 year olds, its relaxing to converse with someone that has had some life experiences and shares the same interests. So hopefully both Elijah and I have a friend to hang with on the weekends when Daddies at work. Here are a few shots from the party!
