So I finally started working on some of the actual jets this past week. I've been doing mostly painting of parts up until now. Getting to work on the planes is pretty cool. I removed a portion of the wing and replaced it last week. I thought having to go up on the wing and work was scary, but this week I had to work on the tail. I had to use a UMS stand which takes me about 30 feet in the air. Its not very smooth and sways more than I would like. But its all part of the job. This is the one picture I got on the wing and then the other two are on the tail. In the last picture I'm applying edge sealer to the sticker I just stuck to the tail. Hopefully I get a hang of all this stuff, but I have a feeling the next three years are going to go by very slowly.
PS. I don't know why the font is blue and underlined. I'm too tired to figure it out. I'll fix it next time...
How cool is that?! Thanks for putting stuff up about your work, because it's such a mystery to me. I'm so proud of my little sister!
