When life hands you lemons...

To fund my trip to Maine to be in my best friend Casey's wedding, I decided to have a garage sale.  I don't have much to sale, so I didnt expect a lot.  I had pretty much figured I would have to buy some press on nails instead of getting acrilic ones.  The one thing I do have that I don't need is a huge amount of DVDs. So, I set all my DVDs up on a blanket outside my house, along with Elijah and his lemonade stand.  I sold my movies for a buck a piece and made out like a bandit!  People would buy piles of DVDs!  I had one lady  buy 75 movies at once. Most people bought at least 20 at a time.  I'm truly amazed to think I had a gold mine in my house this whole time, just sitting there staring at me every day.  I made more than enough to go to Maine and get my nails done!  I'm so excited!  Elijah made about $10 off his lemonade stand and he was such a good helper.  I'll probably take him to get a toy or something from Walmart with his money.  So in case you were wondering, yes movies sell well at garage sales.  Hope everyone elses weekend was as productive as mine, and its still only Saturday afternoon!
